Older Cards

These are some of the cards that I have made in the past. I am going to try to keep this blog up to date. I have been battling breast cancer since last October, having just completed my radiation therapy today. Even though my life will never be the same "normal" as it once was, I am looking forward to fewer and fewer doctor visits and more and more normal activities.
This was a graduation card that I did for one of my students in 2011.

This is a bridal shower card. The skirt is actually made out of bridal satin embossed with my Big Shot.

This was a very simple birthday card made using an embossing folder.

A Thank You card with matching envelope.

A monogram card, blank on the inside, that has multiple uses.

A card that I made using Vera Bradley paper. Again, blank on the inside for multiple uses.

A Thank You card made using embossing folder. Very simple.

Royal Birthday Card

This is my first posting to showcase my craft. These are birthday cards that I created for my twin grandsons who just turned 8 and are Kansas City Royals fans--or, as they used to call them, the "Proyals." I used Illustrator to draw the various shapes that make up the card and then saved the outlines as an .svg file so that they could be cut using Sure Cuts a Lot and my Cricut. The "card" is a rectangle that hides behind the jersey.
